Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Ryman Hospitality Properties. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage food costs, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and culinary concepts.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of restaurant culinary experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • High-volume and special event experience, including banquet and catering.
  • Degree in hospitality or culinary arts preferred.
