Job Summary

Shawnee Hills Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading engaging programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric activities and events that cater to the diverse interests of our residents.
  • Assist in developing a monthly program calendar that offers a balanced mix of cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
  • Procure groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents, ensuring a diverse and engaging program.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Entertainment & Programming to provide medical transportation and plan innovative outings and excursions.
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting community vehicles.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners. A strong organizational and time management skills are essential for this role, as well as a passion for creating engaging programs that enhance the quality of life for seniors.
