Job Summary

The Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship programs at the University of Kansas Medical Center. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Program Director, Associate Program Directors, and other program leadership, as well as the GME Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with ACGME and Institutional policies and regulations
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including updating program information and submitting required reports
  • Plan and prepare annual Program Evaluation and Clinical Competency Committees meetings
  • Manage active evaluations and coordinate evaluation review and delivery process
  • Assist with scheduling semi-annual evaluations and preparation of necessary paperwork
  • Coordinate conference administration and logistics, including daily conference setup and weekly Grand Rounds administration
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
