Job Title: Rehabilitation Director

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Director to lead our therapy program at Foulk Manor North - CCRC in Wilmington, DE.

Job Summary:

The Rehabilitation Director will be responsible for providing leadership, management, and vision to ensure the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. This includes recruiting and retaining rehab service personnel, promoting positive employee relations, and conducting performance appraisals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a clinical caseload and providing treatment in accordance with established standards of practice
  • Recruiting and retaining rehab service personnel and promoting positive employee relations
  • Conducting performance appraisals and monitoring personnel compliance standards
  • Investigating and resolving staff, service, and patient-related issues
  • Developing strategies to increase facility therapy program/revenue in both Part A and Part B caseloads
  • Leading marketing efforts with local hospitals, physicians, and community to increase awareness of the therapy program
  • Providing leadership to and directly managing clinical therapy staff, facilitating a team atmosphere among staff
  • Ensuring that clinical staff is providing proper documentation according to Medicare guidelines, company policy, and facility standards
  • Representing the ethical standards of the company and identifying/reporting instances of poor patient care
  • Overseeing the scheduling of patients and therapists, ensuring adequate coverage for therapy minutes
  • Tracking Assessment Period Data and communicating data to appropriate facility personnel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech and Language Pathology
  • Current license in the state(s) assigned
  • Minimum of 3 years of rehabilitation experience
  • MDS certification (RAC-CT) or other advanced certification preferred
  • Proven leadership and program development/supervisory experience, including multi-site management experience
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and therapy practice act legislation/law and accreditation standards
  • Interdisciplinary management and understanding essential
