Factors influencing the placement of newly hired individuals within this range include specific skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and comparisons to existing employees in similar positions.

Typically, new hires are positioned below the midpoint of the salary range.

Compensation for PRN roles is determined differently than for Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions.

PRN rates are influenced by the specific role and other factors, including years of experience and shift commitments as per departmental policies.

PRN differentials may apply in certain roles.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:
Deliver continuous EKG monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms, including critical arrhythmias. Promptly inform relevant personnel of any arrhythmias detected. Supervise the care, maintenance, and tracking of telemetry devices and their servicing. Report any telemetry equipment issues to the Telemetry Manager or the Biomedical Department.

Qualifications

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Completion of a Rhythm Recognition Course
Successful achievement of the CMH Telemetry Technician competency within three (3) months of employment.

Preferred:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Six (6) months of telemetry monitoring experience
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
