Your Role:
As a key member of the Material Estimating Team, you will play a vital role in the development, analysis, and approval of material estimates for various programs. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assessing program requirements and preparing material basis of estimates (BOEs).
  • Supporting internal proposal reviews and customer audits.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, and Finance teams.

Additional Responsibilities:
In this role, you will also:
  • Develop Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs) based on reliable data.
  • Identify historical data to establish valid bases for estimates.
  • Interface with the Program Office and present estimate data to leadership.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Skills:
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Knowledge of Tableau.
  • Experience in material estimating.
  • Familiarity with the proposal process.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time remote position, with occasional travel to Lockheed Martin offices for meetings.
