Saxon Global is in search of a skilled IT Business Consultant who will play a pivotal role in the assessment, configuration, oversight, and reporting of the organization’s application suite.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and application proprietors to gather, evaluate, articulate, and document comprehensive business and technical specifications.
  • Assist in Application Operations projects by formulating work plans, estimations, and schedules.
  • Collect and document workflows, conduct high-level and detailed gap assessments, and sometimes outline business and technical specifications by guiding stakeholders through their operational processes.
  • Maintain and oversee current and future state documentation, contributing to the creation of run books to operationalize existing implementations.
  • Develop use case scenarios for the user acceptance testing phase.
  • Partner with IT Operations (including Application Operations, Desktop, Server, and Network Teams) to gain insights into products and their documentation needs.
  • Document process workflows and refresh existing ones as necessary.
  • Revise and enhance current documentation as required, collaborating with subject matter experts to capture new processes, work instructions, knowledge base articles, or other documentation.
  • Refine technical specifications and requirements to elevate the quality and clarity of documentation.
  • Ensure that technical information is well-organized and flows logically throughout documents.
  • Create user documentation for various systems, including instructional guides, troubleshooting protocols, and manuals tailored for different audience comprehension levels.
  • Identify business processes and design solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Develop technical solution documentation and guidelines, as well as business requirement documents for SharePoint and M365 platform initiatives.
  • Construct Adobe Forms based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a business, data, or systems analyst, ideally within an IT department or a large matrix organization.
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies and tools, including Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in Adobe form creation and Adobe Creative Applications & Services.
  • Background in project management and SDLC within an IT context.
  • Proven experience collaborating with operations departments to understand technical systems and documentation requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Self-motivated and organized, capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and M365 Office Suite.
  • Experience in process mapping using Visio or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Go-To Meeting, and Zoom.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to innovate.
