About the Position

The Client Services Manager plays a critical role in delivering exceptional client experiences within our Advisory practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about impact investing and committed to building strong relationships with clients.

Working closely with our senior investment team members, the Client Services Manager will provide leadership and support for all aspects of client services, including client relations, investment structures, reporting processes, and compliance practices.

Our ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of client relations, investment structures, and compliance practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide exceptional service, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Build and maintain detailed knowledge of clients, their portfolio strategies, impact goals, and preferences.
  • Client Strategy: Oversee pipeline management, matching clients to opportunities, and supporting the investment team in identifying suitable investments.
  • Client Growth & Development: Develop and execute proactive strategies for targeted outreach to and education of potential clients, manage and file new client documentation, and formally onboard new clients.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in client services, with a solid track record in managing investment portfolios and reporting processes.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing systems for tracking client goals, pipeline management, and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to contribute to cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Strong track record of polished and precise communication, with experience drafting and presenting RFP responses, proposals, and pitch materials.
Location

The preference is for this position to be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, with the possibility of remote work arrangements. We are a mostly remote team with monthly meetings for Bay Area staff and full-team gatherings once or twice a year.

Hours, Compensation, and Benefits

This is a full-time exempt position with a salary range of $126,000.00 - $137,000.00 commensurate with experience. We offer benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, an employer-contributed 401K, 15 days of PTO, and our office is closed the first week of July and the last week of December.
