Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our team at Montclair Pet Hospital in Oakland, CA. As a Client Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for pet parents, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their visit.

Responsibilities
  • Manage appointment schedules and confirm appointments using our practice management system.
  • Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reach out to prospective clients.
  • Present and explain fees, including processing payments.
  • Act as a client-patient advocate to ensure pet parents receive all pertinent information about their pet's healthcare.
  • Maintain a clean and organized hospital environment.
Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer support, administration, hospitality, client services, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle phone systems.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable around animals.
