Position Overview:
The Director of Specification Channel at Schneider Electric is a pivotal role within our National SalesForce and Power Systems divisions in North America.

Key Responsibilities:
In this prominent position, you will report directly to the VP of Power System Commercial while also having a dotted-line relationship with the SVP of Sales. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and drive execution strategies for a business generating $4 billion in revenue.

As a dynamic and visionary leader, you will have the chance to motivate a team of 7 direct reports and oversee a sales function of over 50 individuals. This team is dedicated to providing technical engineering, specification, and application support to consultants, ensuring optimal system designs and successful project outcomes.

Strategic Development:
You will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy across the channel, aimed at achieving annual sales and specification influence targets, expanding market share, and driving year-over-year growth in key objectives.

Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders across a matrixed organization to ensure a unified approach to business growth as we navigate a transformative landscape. Align the Specification strategy across various regions in accordance with Line of Business (LOB) and Area growth targets.

Market Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with third-party media partners to enhance penetration within Design Firm customers through thought leadership initiatives. Participate in extensive market intelligence activities to accurately identify and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies aligned with industry demands.

Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilize data analytics in collaboration with Sales Operations and Finance to determine necessary investment strategies for future growth. Communicate a compelling strategic value proposition through application engineers, contractors, and end users.

Leadership and Talent Development:
Attract and nurture talent, fostering capabilities within the function through world-class competencies and optimized organizational design. Design sales incentive programs that motivate the sales force to achieve growth targets while supporting profitable growth through effective mix management.

Cultural Promotion:
Encourage and exemplify a high-performance culture that reflects Schneider Electric's core values, including inclusion and diversity, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Digital Transformation:
Lead initiatives aimed at promoting the adoption and effective use of digital tools and solutions, enhancing productivity and customer engagement through innovative technologies.

Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in sales or marketing within the electrical industry.
- A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a growth-oriented, dynamic industry.
- Proven track record in building and developing high-performing diverse teams within a matrixed organization.
- In-depth knowledge of Technical/Engineering focused sales and the ability to thrive in a competitive landscape.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 25% within the United States.
