  • Develop actionable plans to meet purchasing, food quality, and safety targets.
  • Regularly assess departmental performance against established standards, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Evaluate team strengths and weaknesses, creating development plans to enhance skills and performance.
  • Oversee product specifications across various categories including food, paper goods, equipment, and services.
  • Enhance and sustain a robust Quality Management and Food Safety program.

Qualifications and Core Competencies:

  • Over 10 years of experience in procurement, with a thorough understanding of best practices and supply chain integration.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining product specifications across multiple categories.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management and Food Safety Systems, with knowledge of GFSI schemes and FDA regulations being highly advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product specification processes, inventory control, and operational experience within a cross-functional team.
  • A diverse background in purchasing, supply chain management, leadership, and staff development, particularly in food-related procurement.
  • Ability to devise strategies that leverage purchasing power and ensure product availability while understanding the operational implications of the supply chain.
  • Proven negotiation skills, demonstrating a strategic mindset beyond basic purchasing functions.
