KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with the Warranty Coordinator daily to efficiently address homeowner warranty inquiries and escalate issues to management with thorough documentation.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of warranty processes and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Identify and manage warranty-related concerns for homeowners, utilizing diagnostic skills and effective communication to ensure proper tracking and resolution. This may involve physical tasks such as lifting and climbing for inspections.
  • Maintain familiarity with industry standards and warranty guidelines, effectively communicating policies to homeowners.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in alignment with established warranty protocols.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers regarding warranty issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and knowledge.
  • Oversee subcontractor/vendor involvement for repairs or replacements, including scheduling and follow-up.
  • Document all work orders with detailed information on performed tasks or issues to be addressed.
  • Monitor and follow up on scheduled repairs to guarantee completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide after-hours support for emergencies through a dedicated hotline.
  • Assist with maintenance services for company facilities as required.
  • Become proficient in data entry within the Warranty System.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in residential construction is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications and adaptable to new systems.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift and carry weights ranging from 20 to 100 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to navigate uneven surfaces safely.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, and climbing.
  • Continuous movement and standing.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements may be required.
  • Work may be performed in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Dexterity is necessary for operating a computer and other equipment.
