About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at Target. As a Food and Beverage Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members, ensuring a fresh, full, and food-safe shopping experience for our guests, and driving sales growth in the Food and Beverage department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of hourly team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure a fresh, full, and food-safe shopping experience for our guests by maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
  • Drive sales growth in the Food and Beverage department by analyzing sales trends, identifying opportunities, and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise, to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Store Operations and Logistics, to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions to discuss performance, provide feedback, and set goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, guest feedback, and other metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and company initiatives to ensure the Food and Beverage department remains competitive and aligned with company goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or food service environment, with a focus on leadership and team management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving efficiency, and enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service and driving sales growth.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 44 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
