Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department at Hibbett Retail, Inc. This dynamic role involves guiding employees through various HR processes, answering questions regarding policies, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
  • Conduct new-hire employee orientation and ensure proper enrollment.
  • Collaborate with HR Leaders in reviewing Criminal Reports and making recommendations on proper course of action.
  • Support HR Leaders in Ethics & Compliance Reporting.
  • Manage Minor Law Violations and administer unemployment hearings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Maintain and communicate unemployment documents, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures, protecting the company's assets and financial information.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and legislation, and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, retail environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with employees and management.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, analyze data, and make informed decisions.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense, analyze problems, and make sound judgments.
