Job Summary

B.L. Harbert International LLC is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR process and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee personal and medical files
  • Sort and file mail and correspondence on a daily basis
  • Perform extensive data entry of employee records into the HR database and Excel spreadsheets
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records of employee leaves and absences
  • Provide employment verification letters as needed
  • Assist with monthly payroll preparation and various HR reports
  • Schedule appointments with investigators for security clearances
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment

This is an office-based role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
