About the Role

The Office Manager is a key position at Church World Service, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Grand Rapids office. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, promote community involvement, and ensure the successful resettlement of refugees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff and volunteers to ensure the effective delivery of refugee resettlement services.
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to engage local congregations and organizations.
  • Monitor program performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent Church World Service in the local community and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in refugee resettlement case management and direct social services.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
