Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager role is a key position within our organization, responsible for leading a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to create qualified opportunities for our sales team. This player-coach role requires a strong leader who can train, onboard, and mentor new BDRs, while also taking on operational and administrative tasks to help the team perform and exceed expectations.
Main Responsibilities- Work closely with Sales Leadership to develop and manage the BDR program, ensuring the team's performance and abilities improve over time.
- Create and update the BDR Playbook, providing a comprehensive guide for BDRs to follow.
- Provide coaching and feedback to BDR Team members to help them improve their performance and abilities.
- Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
- Train other members of the BDR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified meetings and/or opportunities.
- Identify, recruit, interview, and hire sales talent, continually raising the bar with each new hire.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and nurture leads.
- Collaborate with Sales and other members of the Sales Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership to identify key company accounts to develop.
- Develop effective messaging for outbound communications to the team.
- Drive day-to-day activities and achieve team goals.
- Oversee the Outreach Cadence Process, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Measure and report against key performance indicators (KPIs), creating reports as needed or requested by senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of sales leadership experience.
- Demonstration of self-motivation and drive.
- Self-awareness and high emotional intelligence.
- Good communication skills.
- Energetic and motivated individual.
