Job Title: Field Service Representative

Securitas Electronic Security Inc is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join our team. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering on-site services at customer facilities, particularly in hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and commission new systems by following company procedures and processes
  • Perform service work at customer sites including troubleshooting, repair, or replacement of customer equipment
  • Visit facilities to perform preventative maintenance by inspecting installed equipment and making repairs as needed
  • Complete facility site surveys to determine usability for products manufactured and/or sold by the Company
  • Provide training to facility personnel to show the correct operation and maintenance of installed equipment
  • Perform administrative duties including writing facility visit reports, completing service or post-installation checklists, creating and submitting expense reports, and maintaining accurate inventory of equipment and parts on a company vehicle
  • Attend construction meetings when needed to help ensure that installations that are part of a new construction or renovation project go as planned
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to help cover for emergency repairs on weekends or holidays
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License with no restrictions
  • 2+ years of experience with installing or troubleshooting low voltage systems including security systems, access control systems, door controllers, elevator controllers, relays, etc.
  • Ability to obtain required State licensing needed to successfully perform the role
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hold C-7 Low Voltage Systems Contractor and C-28 Lock and Security Equipment Contractor licenses
  • An associate degree in Electronics or a related field
  • Wiring, cabling, and/or security or access control system installation
  • Field service experience traveling to multiple customer job sites
  • Some experience in customer training preferred
  • Experience supporting or installing systems that use radio technology
  • Experience with data networking

This position entails delivering on-site services at customer facilities, particularly in hospitals. As a condition of employment, the selected candidate may need to engage in vendor credentialing systems specified by the customer. Additional documentation and compliance with vendor credentialing requirements are mandatory, encompassing, but not limited to:

  • Verify vaccination records or immune titers for MMR, Tdap, Varicella, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B.
  • Annual obligations for TB screening with a negative test and confirmation of flu vaccination status.
  • Background checks and/or drug screenings conducted by third-party vendors. During this procedure, you may be asked to provide personal information, such as Social Security Number (SSN).
