Job Title: Construction Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
This Construction Operations Specialist role at PC Construction Company involves leading on-site engineering functions, including completing engineering reviews and approvals, and preparing subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and other commitments in CMiC. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, previous construction experience, a desire to build a career within the construction industry, and the ability/willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and other commitments in CMiC
  • Contact vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing information and scopes of work quotations
  • Perform scope and price reviews
  • Update and distribute documents and logs
  • Generate submittal logs
  • Read and review project contracts
  • Review design drawings and specifications
  • Generate and process RFIs
  • Prepare change orders
  • Review unpaid subcontractor and vendor invoices
  • Ensure materials and equipment are delivered according to schedule requirements
