Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced EHS professional to join our team at McFarland Construction. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can develop and implement effective EHS programs, conduct site inspections, and provide training to employees and contractors.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or occupational health and safety. A minimum of 5 years' experience in EHS program management is required, with 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry being a plus. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification and knowledge of relevant safety standards are also essential.

EHS Program Implementation:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific EHS policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
  • Conduct hazard assessments and recommend corrective actions.
Site Inspections and Audits:
  • Perform regular inspections of the construction site to identify potential hazards.
  • Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and follow up on corrective actions.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Bonus structure available.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
