Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Greet patients, families, and visitors warmly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Listen attentively to patient concerns and collaborate with healthcare team members to address and resolve issues.
  • Provide timely updates and information to patients and families regarding their care.
  • Handle incoming calls professionally, ensuring accurate routing and prompt responses.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including making, canceling, and rescheduling as necessary.
  • Support digital communication platforms, ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering excellent service.
  • Accurately gather and enter patient demographic and insurance information to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Assist in billing processes and payment collection, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment in collaboration with support services.

Administrative Support:

  • Independently manage assigned tasks and responsibilities, ensuring timely completion.
  • Stay informed about clinic operations through regular communication and participation in meetings.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and medical office software is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals.
