Logistics Sales Professional

Sethmar Transportation is a dynamic and innovative logistics solutions provider dedicated to optimizing supply chain operations for our customers. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities and drive sales growth with new customers
- Pursue opportunities to strengthen new and existing relationships
- Develop and maintain a broad understanding of Sethmar's services, resources, and technologies
- Proactively identify and target potential clients in need of logistic services through various channels
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Build, manage, and leverage internal relationships to ensure collaboration, capacity alignment, issue resolution, and service improvements
- Develop and monitor annual operations and reports, reviewing transportation activities and assessing unmet transportation needs
- Create and maintain a working relationship with clients
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the leadership team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent work or military experience
- 3+ years sales experience in the logistics and transportation industry
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to think quickly and manage high-volume situations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships
- Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multitask, and work with a sense of urgency
- Remains positive and flexible in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills
- Aptitude to learn and proper use of Zoho/Aljex
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
