Job Overview

Sethmar Transportation is a dynamic and innovative logistics solutions provider dedicated to optimizing supply chain operations for our customers. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities and drive sales growth with new customers
  • Pursue opportunities to strengthen new and existing relationships
  • Develop and maintain a broad understanding of Sethmar's services, resources, and technologies
  • Proactively identify and target potential clients in need of logistic services through various channels
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Build, manage, and leverage internal relationships to ensure collaboration, capacity alignment, issue resolution, and service improvements
  • Develop and monitor annual operations and reports, reviewing transportation activities and assessing unmet transportation needs
  • Create and maintain a working relationship with clients
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the leadership team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent work or military experience
  • 3+ years sales experience in the logistics and transportation industry
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and manage high-volume situations
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships
  • Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multitask, and work with a sense of urgency
  • Remains positive and flexible in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Aptitude to learn and proper use of Zoho/Aljex
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
