Role Summary:

KODA Technologies, Inc. is on the lookout for a Systems Engineering Specialist to enhance our team in supporting government clients with the implementation of model-based systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist government clients in the execution of model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
  • Create digital models to facilitate the development and maintenance of military systems programs.
  • Compile program technical documentation and artifacts to construct a comprehensive representation of the system, encompassing hardware/software and external interfaces.
  • Collaborate with government clients and development contractors to translate system requirements, designs, interfaces, and behaviors into system models.
  • Formulate modeling and simulation strategies and plans.
  • Employ a customized Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Methodology to identify system stakeholders, requirements, components, interfaces, data, and capture system parametric information.
  • Develop and present products, analyses, and reports to government clients.
  • Conduct analytical tasks within a classified work environment.
  • Engage in program meetings, reviews, and milestones.
  • Provide innovative solutions and concepts to optimize the acquisition, development, and operation of DoD systems.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, or a related Science field is required. Other degrees may be considered if the candidate possesses directly relevant testing experience.
  • Relevant testing experience: 2+ years for Junior-Level, 7+ years for Mid-Level, and/or 15+ years for Senior-Level roles.
  • Proficiency in SysML using contemporary MBSE tools such as Cameo, Capella, Innoslate, Rhapsody, CORE, etc.
  • Experience in system design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Familiarity with DoD, MDA, or NASA program processes.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team of professionals.
  • Demonstrated exceptional work history.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
