Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Energy Systems Engineer. This role is pivotal in providing technical leadership across various facets of long-term contracts that involve energy calculations, standards, policies, and criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee energy engineering tasks including energy systems design, facility energy modeling, auditing, energy studies, commissioning, and the validation and execution of energy conservation initiatives.
- Conduct thorough analyses of energy consumption, standards, and policies.
- Integrate energy data into application sustainment and modernization efforts.
- Utilize government and industry tools and methodologies related to energy management and reporting.

Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Capability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in energy engineering, specifically in energy systems design, facility energy modeling, auditing, energy studies, commissioning, and executing energy conservation projects.
- At least three (3) years of experience in facility energy modeling.
- Strong knowledge of DOD, Army, and Federal Energy and Sustainability laws, policies, executive orders, regulations, instructions, and guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Secret clearance.
- Experience with Army installations, energy, and sustainability challenges.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) status is highly regarded.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is a plus, with a PE license considered superior.

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
