KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Systems, you will oversee the strategic direction, execution, and enhancement of all enterprise systems within the organization. You will work in partnership with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements, explore technological solutions, and optimize processes to improve operational efficiency and stimulate business growth. This position demands strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and a profound understanding of both business operations and information technology.

  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive strategy for the organization's enterprise systems, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.
  • System Deployment and Integration: Spearhead the assessment, selection, and deployment of enterprise systems, guaranteeing seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and workflows through effective technology utilization, automation, and best practices.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including finance, operations, sales, marketing, and IT, to comprehend their needs and priorities, ensuring that enterprise systems effectively meet their requirements.
  • Vendor Relations: Oversee relationships with technology vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and compliance with service level agreements.
  • Change Leadership: Drive organizational transformation by advocating for the adoption of new technologies and processes, offering training and support to users, and nurturing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Evaluation and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to assess the effectiveness of enterprise systems and monitor progress towards strategic objectives, providing regular insights to senior leadership.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with enterprise systems, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are established.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of enterprise systems professionals, offering guidance, coaching, and opportunities for professional growth to enhance their skills and capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role managing enterprise systems, enterprise applications, or IT operations.
  • Strong comprehension of business processes, operations management, and project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to formulate and execute strategic plans, drive change, and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise software systems, including CRM platforms and other business applications.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in enterprise systems, such as cloud computing, data analytics, AI, and automation.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and complex technology initiatives.
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
