Mid-Market Account Manager

SafetyChain Software is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Market Account Manager to join our Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing business with existing customers in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate conversations with executives and program owners at assigned Mid-Market customers to expand existing subscriptions.
- Build a profitable pipeline through direct outreach to qualified prospects, supported by our marketing and business development team.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast sales performance.
- Negotiate commercial terms with win-win outcomes and deliver on quota numbers aligned with company strategy.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals.
- A track record of success in field or expansion sales, carrying annual quota of $500K or more for 2+ years with a SaaS company.
- Ability to walk a plant and help customers identify additional ways to leverage our software to improve overall ROI.
- Professional presentation skills and commitment to customer satisfaction and long-term value.
- Experience in selling compliance, safety, or quality systems is highly desired.
- Demonstrated success in Account Management, Customer expansion sales.
- Prior work for or with food & beverage companies preferred.
- Initiative: the ability to get started and work independently when necessary.
- Process Driven: you are highly structured, disciplined, and organized in creating and executing operational processes.
- Inquisitiveness: a desire to expand your knowledge base and explore concepts and ideas that are new and unfamiliar.
