Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop long-term client relationships and maximize account penetration and client retention with contractors.
  • Sell company products, systems, and services in assigned territory to assigned accounts.
  • Develop relationships with multiple buying influences in the client's organization, including project managers, project engineers, construction, purchasing, and accounts payable.
  • Assemble, coordinate, and interact with sales team as needed for client penetration and project acquisition.
  • Coordinate with Estimators in the interpretation of specifications and preparation of proposals.
  • Responsible for project takeoff, selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and services.
  • Determine proposal price and selling strategy.
  • Review contract terms and conditions.
  • Presents the proposal and negotiates price, terms, and conditions with client.
  • Assist clients in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, products, and applications; BAS, installation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution.
  • Obtain Trane and vendor estimated ship dates and update appropriate schedules.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years client service experience.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Detail oriented, organized, strong math skills.
  • Motivated, self-starter that can work independently.
  • Two years HVAC and/or construction industry experience a plus.
