Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Asset Manager to oversee the enterprise-wide management of digital technology hardware assets. The primary focus is on gathering contract and entitlement information and using that information to create entitlements in the Hardware Asset Management System to allow the creation of position reporting. The role requires knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Hardware Asset Management, along with the functions that support the hardware lifecycle. We are looking for an analyst who possesses the technical skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse set of technical resources. The successful candidate will have been a contributor in a large enterprise with 5+ years of experience.

Job Responsibilities
Populate hardware asset data into the asset tracking system, including procurement data, contract data, warranty information, and all related financial information. Review and analyze hardware contracts and maintenance agreements to establish entitlements. Validate data between all systems of record and the asset management tool. Prepare and distribute pre-defined and ad-hoc reports; identify and recommend hardware for potential replacement or upgrades. Perform asset deployment versus entitlement reconciliations to identify over and under-utilization by product. Provide data insights for hardware agreement renewals, negotiation, and procurement decisions, including ROI and cost avoidance. Monitor and alert stakeholders to changes in hardware warranty terms and conditions. Track hardware entitlement data related to projects and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity. Identify and report potential issues with the asset tracking tool and supporting systems. Develop and maintain Hardware Asset Management program and process documentation.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in hardware asset management, with an associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience. Experience with asset management tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, and Intune. Full PC Life Cycle Management Experience. Familiarity with hardware vendors and their products, including Dell, HP, Cisco, and Apple. Solid understanding of IT Asset Management hardware management policies, procedures, and practices. Experience using asset management tools for hardware reconciliation and manual data reconciliation. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and relationship skills for delivering a positive customer experience. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Experience with data analysis tools including Excel and Power BI. Familiarity with contract/agreement review and accurate interpretation. Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities. Certifications in IT Asset Management, such as ITAM or CHAMP, are preferred but not required.
