Job Description:
As a detail-oriented and organized Billing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate invoicing and managing billing records. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Checks company email every morning and responds as needed.
  • Maintains filing system, reorganizing when needed.
  • Is proactive in assisting other members of the office team when necessary.
  • Works with the rest of billing staff in data entry, breakdown, and mail out of billing, stamping and scanning and any additional needs.
  • Works efficiently to complete billing in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to the team's efforts by completing high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Promptly communicates questions, concerns and an inability to complete tasks on time to necessary staff personnel.
  • Maintains professionalism, and refrains from engaging in any unprofessional conduct.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Proven experience in a billing or accounts receivable role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

The estimated salary for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 /hourly, based on the location in Stockton, CA.
