Job Summary:

Salem Media Group is seeking a highly motivated and digitally-savvy sales professional to join our team as a Media Strategist - Digital Sales. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for selling multi-media marketing solutions, including digital, broadcast, and events, primarily in the New York area, as well as nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for qualified local and regional businesses, reaching decision makers, setting meetings, analyzing client needs, and creating and delivering compelling and strategic advertising presentations that address client objectives.
  • Accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, and overachieve annual budgets.

Qualifications:

  • A track record of exceeding sales goals in digital media.
  • Proficiency in prospecting, client needs discovery, marketing plan creation, presenting, and closing.
  • Thorough knowledge of digital products and applications, including:

  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Audience and Search Retargeting
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Social Media Management and Marketing
  • Digital (Programmatic) Display
  • Website Development
  • Live Chat
  • Email Marketing
  • PPC and more
