About the Role

The Senior Account Executive - Flood Management role is a key position that offers a challenging and diverse work environment. As an internal and external liaison, you will provide in-house service for our esteemed clients, supporting the sales team and identifying growth opportunities by evaluating the client's current portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new product, distribution, or service opportunities with assigned clients.
  • Oversee the implementation process, ensuring the smooth execution of tasks associated with installation planning.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key client contacts and foster collaboration between client and utility resources.
  • Maintain the integrity of client data, from proposal to implementation, and evaluate the client's financial performance.
  • Provide management and clients with recommendations to ensure program profitability while managing contracting activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in agency sales, marketing, and/or account development experience.
  • 1 year of experience in Property and Casualty or Flood insurance.
  • Experience building long-term relationships with clients and providing solutions based on business needs.
  • Reside in one of the following states: Massachusetts or Connecticut.
  • Proficiency with MS Tools i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Perform work responsibilities promptly in a fast-paced, high-volume office work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage large groups to drive results.
  • Experience performing effectively when priorities, direction, and resources change.
  • Collaborate well with direct and indirect management.
  • Ensure alignment with the established Assurant and line of business goals/objectives.
  • Apply expert problem-solving skills to the most complex issues and recommend improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge of channels and Assurant's business.
