**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Zendesk. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, uncovering, and qualifying new business opportunities that contribute to a significant proportion of our sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospects and clients to understand their business and organizational challenges and pain points.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop a list of target prospects and generate high-value sales pipeline through strategic and targeted prospecting.
- Create personalized messaging and outbound content targeting new business prospects for Zendesk.
- Leverage research and personalized messaging to drive outbound cold calls to prospects.
- Research companies through financial reports, investor presentations, and relevant news articles.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects and provide top-class customer experience.
Requirements
- Business development experience within the SMB, Enterprise, and Commercial segment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales-related environment.
- A competitive mindset with a hunger and self-starter commitment to overachieve and succeed.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, 6sense, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferable.

The US annualized OTE (On Target Earnings) range for this position is $32.21-$48.56 with a pay mix of 70/30 (base/commission). This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
