  • Direct and coordinate all operational activities across multiple facilities, ensuring seamless execution and optimal performance.

  • Partner with HR to provide guidance and direction to staff on hiring, disciplinary action, development, goal formulation, and performance reviews, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain and be familiar with safety and environmental concerns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, minimizing losses due to fraud, poor quality control, poor operational or accounting practices.
  • Lead department personnel in a professional manner, driving achievement of company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting all company standards.
  • Advocate sound business practices to operational processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and staying within budgeting standards.
  • Receive, track, assess, and respond to customer complaints or issues, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide tools and training to develop employees in their regular work, serving as a true business partner in developing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing the company's exposure to adverse outcomes of complaints, litigation, audits, and inspections.
Requirements
  • 5 years of supervisory experience preferred in managing a multi-tiered organizational structure.
  • Minimum 2 years in the metals industry is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading the operational aspects of a $50M+/year business.
  • Exhibits a strong moral character.
  • Ability to work in a non-controlled climate.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Exceptional leadership and team building skills.
  • Operates a computer proficiently (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
  • Comprehends and applies standards and procedures.
  • Broad knowledge of marketing/sales practices.
  • Knowledge of Logistics, Material handling, Production, and Maintenance.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or other closely related field strongly preferred.
