Job Description

At Chief of Minds, we're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our daily transit services. As the backbone of our operations, you'll supervise and support our dedicated team, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of transit services that keep the city moving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leader: Supervise and support employees performing daily operations, ensuring they have the tools, training, and motivation to succeed.
  • Master Planner: Oversee the staffing levels along with scheduling and coordination of public transit services, ensuring routes run on time and adapt to changing needs.
  • Operations Strategist: Plan, implement, and manage operational activities in alignment with our strategic goals, keeping efficiency and quality at the forefront.
  • Problem Solver: Address operational challenges as they arise, coordinating with maintenance, customer service, and other departments to find swift, effective solutions.
  • Performance Monitor: Track and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure we're meeting and exceeding service standards, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Customer Champion: Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional service to passengers, working to ensure their experience is seamless, reliable, and safe.
  • Safety Advocate: Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety across the team.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Leader: You have (3) years of experience in operations management, preferably in public transit, logistics, or a similar field.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: You thrive in complex environments and excel at juggling multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Results-Driven: You are motivated by KPIs, metrics, and service goals, and you know how to drive performance improvement.
  • Adaptable Problem Solver: You're comfortable making quick decisions and pivoting as necessary to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Team-Oriented: You believe in the power of collaboration and are skilled at motivating and managing a diverse team.
  • Customer-Focused: You understand that at the end of the day, it's all about delivering the best possible service to passengers.
