Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of the firm's software solutions that underpin its global operations. You will design and implement high-quality, scalable technology solutions utilizing both proprietary and open-source services.
Your role will involve owning the entire process from requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (including unit, integration, and regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to deployment. Collaborate with internal teams to create effective solution designs.
Additionally, you will identify innovative external technologies that can revolutionize our financial services and internal platforms in groundbreaking ways.
You will engage in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing suites to facilitate safe, complete, and scalable solutions across various business lines. Provide mentorship and training to junior team members.Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, along with five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related field.
Your prior experience must encompass five (5) years in the full software development lifecycle, which includes requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; native application development and lifecycle management; application stores; and resource management. Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin for Android, as well as tools and frameworks like UIKit/SwiftUI for iOS or Layouts/Jetpack Compose for Android is essential.
Furthermore, you should have at least two (2) years of experience in mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) development, API design, and versioning.
Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is between $215,000 and $300,000.
Additionally, you may qualify for a discretionary bonus as an active employee at the end of the fiscal year.
