Retail Operations Supervisor

Position Overview:
As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales floor, ensuring the achievement of established sales targets for Goodwill Industries International Inc. Your role will encompass overseeing daily operations, guiding the team, and driving business success. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining motivated, high-performing teams through effective leadership of Retail Sales Associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement retail operations strategies to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual profit, revenue, and production goals.
- Make informed decisions regarding daily retail operations within your designated area.
- Conduct inventory of new merchandise and ensure accurate reporting.
- Reconcile and balance daily financial documentation.
- Ensure Team Members provide exceptional customer service to both donors and customers.
- Manage customer interactions, resolving issues effectively and involving upper management when necessary.
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, addressing Team Member and customer needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store locations, reflecting the Goodwill brand standards.
- Be flexible to transfer to different store locations as business needs arise.
- Supervise daily maintenance and operational standards of the sales floor.
- Provide ongoing mentoring and training to enhance the skills of Retail Sales Associates, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures related to Security, Health, and Safety, collaborating with various divisions as needed.
- May assist with tasks such as bank deposits and support at other locations.
- Process complex sales transactions, including returns.
- Collaborate with store leadership to establish a clear company vision and foster Team Member engagement.
- Manage performance evaluations, staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
- Drive company culture initiatives and change management processes.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred one year of experience in Retail Management.
- Required one year of customer service experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as applicable.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
