Star Interior Resources, a division of Starpower Home Entertainment, is a leading provider of luxury home entertainment, amenities, custom design, and flooring solutions. We are seeking a driven and innovative Flooring Sales Executive to join our team.

Job Summary

The Flooring Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting and attracting new clients, developing long-term relationships, and managing existing accounts to drive product sales within the Main Street commercial, Senior Living, Eldercare, and residential shop-at-home markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market and sell a variety of flooring products, including carpet, tile, wood, laminate, and resilient.
  • Promote other company products and services, such as home entertainment systems and custom design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including builders, developers, sub-contractors, manufacturers, designers, and architects.
  • Utilize time management skills to multitask and prioritize multiple projects with impending deadlines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in CRM systems and invoicing/project management software a plus.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in flooring sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of flooring products and materials, including carpet, tile, wood, laminate, and resilient.
  • Ability to work in a retail flooring environment or with builders, developers, sub-contractors, manufacturers, designers, and architects.
  • Professional communication skills and demeanor, with the ability to close sales and build relationships.
