Job Summary

The School Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the school, ensuring that it aligns with the company's vision and goals. This includes managing day-to-day operations, guiding the school's alignment with company systems and laws, and overseeing staff hiring, training, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including facilities, operations, budgets, sales, customer service, marketing, culture, and quality of education.
  • Guide the school's alignment with company systems and laws, including franchise, state, and federal governing agency laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee staff hiring, training, coaching, and evaluation of performance.
  • Collect and analyze complex data, create marketing tools, and forecast outcomes.
  • Manage school facilities, operations, budgets, sales, customer service, marketing, culture, and quality of education with visionary leadership.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • College degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Human Resources, or comparable field
  • Experience in education and/or beauty industry is a plus but not required
  • At least 3+ years leadership/management experience
  • Cosmetology license and/or instructor experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, management, finance, and business
  • Passion for the beauty industry
  • Honesty and professionalism
  • Solid work history with verifiable references
  • Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred
