Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach 24 or 32 units per year, providing academic instruction to students through lecture, lab, or performance courses.
  • Create assignments and activities to develop cognitive abilities, communication skills, and higher-order thinking skills among students.
  • Participate in School and University level marketing and recruitment planning.
  • Develop and periodically revise the program mission, learning outcomes, and curriculum.
  • Build and manage the program advisory board, and participate in information sessions with potential students.
  • Observe and evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, and student progress.
Requirements:
  • Master's in Personal Financial Planning, or MBA or Master's in finance with an emphasis/concentration in Personal Financial Planning, or MBA in Business Administration with emphasis/concentration/major/minor in Financial Planning.
  • Active CFP license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in teaching, academic advising, and program development.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
