Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing clinical diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including general imaging studies, cardiac studies, and therapeutic radionuclide administrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging studies and radionuclide administrations.
  • Operate computer systems and gamma cameras to process diagnostic examinations.

Physical Demands:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be required to:

  • Stand, sit, walk, stoop, bend, and perform finger dexterity tasks.
  • See, hear, speak, and lift/carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive arm and wrist movements consistent with computer/mouse usage.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a controlled environment with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
  • Be exposed to radioactive materials and radiation.
  • Be available for on-call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Current Hawaii State license as a Nuclear Medical Technologist.
  • Current BLS/HCP certification.
  • Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
