Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
  • Assess patient information and status, and follow appropriate procedures to ensure accurate and safe patient care.
  • Implement patient procedures according to departmental protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Eligibility to take certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology.
