We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute equipment setup, utilization, and maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate hospital and radiology information systems to manage patient data and imaging results.
- Assess patient information and status, and follow established protocols to ensure accurate and timely procedures.
- Implement patient procedures independently, adhering to departmental protocols and standards.
- Perform non-imaging procedures as required, following established protocols and standards.
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized program.
- Eligibility to take certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Nuclear Med Tech Cert (NMTCB) or equivalent certification.
- Completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- Effective communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
