Nuclear Medicine Technologist

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is a leading institution in medical education, research, and patient care. We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis.
Key Responsibilities- Execute equipment setup, utilization, and maintenance procedures.
- Operate hospital and radiology information systems related to nuclear medicine.
- Assess patient information and status, and follow appropriate procedures.
- Implement patient procedures by departmental protocols and standards.
- Implement non-imaging procedures by departmental protocols and standards.
To be eligible for this position, you must have an Associate's Degree and completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program. You must also be eligible to take the certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by either the NMTCB or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred qualifications include completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology.
