Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Queen's Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing clinical diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including general imaging studies, cardiac studies, and therapeutic radionuclide administrations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging studies and radionuclide administrations.
  • Operate computer and gamma camera equipment to process diagnostic examinations.
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
Physical Demands

This role requires standing, sitting, walking, and finger dexterity. You will also need to be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 30 pounds, and push and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions

You will work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment, with exposure to radioactive materials and radiation. You must be able to adjust your schedule for on-call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
  • Current Hawaii State license as a Nuclear Medical Technologist.
  • Current BLS/HCP certification.
  • Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
