Job Description
We are in search of a skilled field commissioning specialist with a background in electrical systems, particularly within the data center sector, to assist in executing project tasks.
The selected candidate will engage in regular commissioning activity discussions and services, which encompass equipment pre-commissioning protocols, the formulation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs), along with thorough commissioning documentation.
This position entails the preparation of commissioning testing protocols and reports, as well as the development and upkeep of commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other resources to monitor commissioning initiatives.
The specialist will generate detailed reports that provide insights for enhancing operational efficiency, functional checklists, deficiency lists, and manuals for equipment operation and maintenance.
Reviewing design standards, specifications, schematics, and equipment submissions relevant to commissioning is also a critical responsibility.The candidate will design and implement functional tests for various systems, including electrical distribution networks, switchboards, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power distribution units (PDUs), static transfer switches (STS), and backup generators, while also validating test outcomes.
Field troubleshooting of commissioned systems and familiarity with Power Quality Analyzers, Power Disturbance Analyzers, data loggers, and associated testing equipment will be integral to the role.
The position also encompasses integrated system evaluations, load bank assessments, and the compilation of all testing procedure results.Hard Skills
Experience in healthcare facilities, large-scale complex infrastructures, and mission-critical environments (data centers, telecommunications, or disaster recovery sites)
Development of SOPs and MOPs
Preparation of commissioning testing protocols and reports
Development and maintenance of commissioning logs and equipment checklists

60-65% travel throughout the year, with assignments sometimes requiring extended on-site presence.
