We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a leading Ortho company in the medical device industry, and at this time, we are looking for a Field Inventory Management Specialistto join our team of field employees.

The Field Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for tracking and counting of assets to and from hospitals, surgical centers, trunk stock, & Field Loaner and storage locations. This includes tracking movements of inventory and cycle counting inventory in a defined geographical area.

This role is also responsible for providing location updates to our inventory transactions team in an effort to keep inventory accurate in the ERP system on an ongoing basis & coordinating with Field Sales Support Supervisor they have accurate visibility to their assets in "real time." Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for providing constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with Commercial Operations, Field Audit, and Supply Chain, as well as the local Sales Consultant team, to ensure the achievement of Field Logistics objectives.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure inventory movements are tracked as they happen
  • Ensure all assets are cycle counted monthly
  • Coordinate and communicate movements to appropriate parties
  • Follow daily instructions provided by supervisor and/or warehouse planner by adhering to planned routes
  • Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
  • Execute all safety policies, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a safe, neat, clean, and orderly fashion
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
  • Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately upon discovery to Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Recent college graduate highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a high-volume Logistics operation
  • Demonstrated ability to do simple math, count accurately, read, and write legibly
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring physical abilities as noted in the section below
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills – team member; ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team
  • Demonstrated flexibility/sense of urgency (Takes direction and accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality)
  • Demonstrated ability to follow policies, SOPs, regulations, and legal requirement knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to produce according to established goals and standards
  • 20% overnight travel

COMPETENCIES:

  • Demonstrated ability to use all job-related equipment including operation of motor vehicle
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
  • Able to stand and/or walk on concrete floors 95% of the time
  • Able to bend/twist/squat; perform repetitive tasks

The potential base pay range for this role is 66,560 annually.
