Maintenance Manager Job Description

At ASM Global, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all maintenance activities, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance history.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient practices and procedures to minimize energy consumption and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn required business systems.
