Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will oversee and enhance billing operations while ensuring the prompt collection of outstanding invoices. This position demands strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Billing Management:
    • Generate and distribute precise invoices to clients promptly.
    • Verify billing information, including ad placements, campaign timelines, and pricing structures.
    • Address any billing discrepancies or issues in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
    • Maintain and update client billing records within the accounting system.
  • Collections Oversight:
    • Track accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
    • Initiate collection efforts through email communication and collaboration with the sales team.
    • Document daily collection activities and provide status updates.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to the Revenue Manager.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding invoices and payment trends.
    • Prepare regular reports on collection activities and billing performance for management review.
    • Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable and billing.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Effectively communicate with clients regarding their billing inquiries and concerns.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
    • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to address client needs and enhance billing processes.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures concerning billing and collections.
    • Maintain accurate and organized records of all billing and collection activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in billing, collections, or a similar role, preferably within the AdTech or advertising sector.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AdTech industry billing practices and terminology is advantageous.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate's qualifications and experience.
