Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Billing Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our billing operations, you will be responsible for driving the billing process, supporting attorneys and practice assistants, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the billing process, supporting attorneys and practice assistants while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Navigate intricate billing scenarios with finesse, conducting research and making revisions as needed.
  • Audit and Review: Conduct meticulous audits of unbilled time and costs, proofreading and updating spreadsheets to maintain accuracy.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate: Work with various billing departments to streamline joint billings and ensure a cohesive process.
  • E-billing Mastery: Reporting and Analysis: Create insightful reports and summaries that present complex data in accessible formats for attorneys and clients alike.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training and guiding your fellow Client Billing Specialists, promoting best practices and quality control.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred, or equivalent legal/e-billing experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in legal billing and e-billing, with proficiency in using third-party vendors.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must, along with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and familiarity with 3E and HUB e-billing software.
