Billing Specialist Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. This is a full-time, 6-month contract position that requires on-site work at the client location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Preparation and Issuance: Generate and issue invoices based on contracts, sales orders, or services rendered.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile billing accounts by identifying and resolving discrepancies between billed and collected amounts.
  • Collections and Follow-Up: Monitor accounts receivable to ensure that payments are received on time and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and industry-specific billing regulations.
  • System Management: Maintain and update billing software and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in billing or accounting software and Microsoft Excel, strong understanding of billing processes and general accounting principles.
